- GEA Group's Bakery Business Unit (BU) is a segment within GEA Group, a global engineering company known for its advanced process technology and services across various industries. The Bakery BU focuses on providing equipment and solutions specifically tailored for the bakery sector, helping clients improve efficiency, product quality, and operational flexibility. The GEA Comas plant, part of the GEA Bakery BU, specializes in the production of equipment for the bakery industry (means single machines or full productions lines). GEA Comas is well known since more than 40 years for its expertise in designing and manufacturing machinery for the production of a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, pastries, pizzas and other confectionery items. Their product portfolio includes depositing and injection machines, enrobing lines, decorating equipment, and complete production lines, all designed to meet the high standards and specific requirements of bakery producers worldwide. Project Management is fully integrated in the company as a transversal independent department depending directly from the CEO of the Bakery BU, thus grant a flexible operativity of the single PM’s interfacing directly with each department focusing on the best service to be given to our clients.
- Your responsibilities and tasks: - Continuos project monitoring to ensure that they are in line with company standards, adhering to budgets and meeting deadlines
- Provide reporting to management and stakeholders
- Overall risk management to identify criticalities
- Track and drive deliverables and milestones of the projects
- Managing relationship with Customer during full life of the project Your profile and qualifications: - University Degree in engineering or equivalent educational level
- min 2 years’ experience in project management
- experience mainly in relevant industry field (food / packaging bakery sector preferred)
- knowledge of project management methodology and tools
- problem solving management skills - ability to handle complex technical situations and challenges
- international enviroment exposure and experience
- negotiation skills
- good English level, both written and spoken
- 2nd language will be a plus for the selection
- strong customer orientation and capability to face directly customers especially in high stress situations
- understanding of the overall BU needs and targets beyond specific area of responsibility
- good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
