As Procurement Manager, you will actively develop the supply chain processes to support our business at its best. You will work closely with three of Ingersoll Rand Air Treatment productions based in Italy and Slovakia and the cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally with our suppliers to ensure that our business targets are met or exceed. Driving cost and time effective delivery of quality components through key vendor relationships is critical. This position is responsible for create optimal Supplier base to meet business requirements. The role is key to leading the Company forward in securing quality suppliers of materials and components covering price, delivery and quality targets. In addition, in this role, you will drive the introduction of the Ingersoll Rand Procurement best practices into the facilities recently acquired by the Company._ - The position is located preferably in Cervignano (UD), Italy._ _Responsibilities: _ - _Developing and implementing procurement strategies that are inventive, cost-effective and in compliance with IR sourcing strategy for Direct Materials_ - _Sourcing and engaging reliable high performing suppliers_ - _Managing a portfolio of suppliers_ - _Leading negotiations to ensure best commercial conditions for IR including implementation IR standards with respect to contractual settings_ - _Building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic suppliers while continually scouting for new potential best in class vendors_ - _Preparing procurement reports. Conducting cost analyses and supplier’s benchmarks_ - _Leading supplier escalations related to OTD, capacity, pricing_ - _Develop risk supplier strategy reflecting results from Risk assessments_ - _Monitor and evaluate supplier’s performance to drive continues improvement with suppliers in terms of cost, quality OTD, service, flexibility and NWC_ - _Working closely with cross function teams - Operations, Logistic, Material planning, Finance, Engineering, Legal and others_ _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: _ - _B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant field_ - _Proven track record from Sourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain in industrial sector on level Procurement Manager or Senior/ Strategic buyer_ - _Contracting, pricing, supply chain/sourcing strategies_ - _Must possess demonstrated work experience to work with outsourced manufacturing suppliers and procurement teams to drive problem resolution, VMI / SOMI implementation, quality processes, and effective source cost analysis_ - _Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction & inventory management_ - _Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with associated procurement based technical knowledge_ - _Proficiency in the strategic sourcing processes and supplier relationship management_ - _Business and financial acumen with excellent negotiation skills_ - _Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability prioritize in fast-paced business environment_ - _A collaborative approach with the ability to build excellent working relationships internally and externally_ - _Fluency in Italian and English._ - Location: Cervignano (UD), Italy._ - Percentage of Travel: up to 30%_ - Min.
