POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Support, Cold Chain Storage Purpose of the position/responsibilities: Ensure the correct management and control of all internal and external activities relating to Cold Chain storage and flows (freezers, cold rooms, refrigerated containers, thawing units, etc.); Active member for new Tech Transfers projects with Cold Chain themes; Collaborate in the definition and review of warehouse SOPs, processes and critical metrics; Support, and where necessary carry out personally, checks and actions aimed at the continuous improvement of warehouse activities and processes, from a PPI perspective. Support the management of external warehouses to ensure compliance with procedures, agreements and alignment of physical/accounting inventories, with particular attention to annual and customer-specific inventories. Support the Warehouse Manager and the Warehouse & Supply Chain Quality Specialist in regulatory and customer audits and as an SME in the management and closure of CAPAs and Deviations. Support the warehouse manager in defining the department budget and identifying new investments and technical solutions in the Cold Chain field. Specific tasks/primary activities: Programming Collaborate with the Shipping Team and Warehouse Team Leader in scheduling warehouse activities, in order to ensure compliance with delivery schedules; Propose and encourage actions for the implementation of solutions and improvement interventions that allow to increase the efficiency of the warehouse, in line with the guidelines received and in compliance with the defined budgets. Support the execution of the actions deriving from the Quality and PPI initiatives in the times and in the manner foreseen; Participate in Warehouse Kaizen and when necessary as a support member for those of the departments that will request it.; Handling Ensure the correct management and control of all the activities and needs of internal and external warehouses related to the Cold Chain (freezers, cold rooms, refrigerated containers, thawing units, etc.). Administration Support the constant verification and updating of procedures, in order to allow correct warehouse accounting, correct inventory management and the creation of inventory activities, in compliance with company standards and procedures. Collaborate to ensure the alignment of SAP and PMX physical and accounting inventories, the execution and the result of the inventories of the internal and external warehouses of the customers and at the end of the year. Personal Collaborate to ensure warehouse staff development and training, with particular reference to GMP/FDA regulations, in compliance with company guidelines and policies.
