(Vacuum Hydraulic Products Italy) is an Italian company and part of the international Weifu High-Technology Group Co., Ltd, a leading supplier of original automotive components in the Asian market. /ppWith over 60 years of history, our Business Unit serves as the group's European hub for the supply of pumping systems for both combustion and electric engines. /ppWe are located in the Crema area and operate primarily in the fields of vacuum creation, oil cooling, and lubrication. /ppWe supply major Western automotive manufacturers and are growing as a mechatronic business organization. /ppAt our headquarters, RD, Production, Sales, and all supporting staff work in synergy, totaling around 500 employees. /ppWe are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer with expertise in designing and developing PCBA solutions for automotive oil pumps and industrial motor control systems. The ideal candidate will take technical ownership of electronic hardware platforms, from architecture, schematic design and PCB layout to debugging for EMC and electrical compliance, while collaborating closely with firmware, validation, and mechanical teams. /ppThis role involves platform-level thinking, modular hardware development, and a strong focus on documentation and regulatory compliance for high-reliability applications in the automotive and industrial domains. /ppbElectronic Architecture Modular Design : /b /pulliOwn the platform electronic architecture for the product generation. /liliDecompose the overall system into electronic modules, defining modular design architecture for reusability. /liliCreate and maintain the electronic engineering module catalogue and configure modules for different projects. /liliEvaluate the maturity and reusability of hardware modules. /liliContribute to electronic requirement reviews, assessing feasibility and proposing optimizations or deviations when needed. /liliDefine internal component-level requirements and derive interface specifications. /liliLead and contribute to decisions on the creation of new modules or module variants. /li /ulpbDesign Development : /b /pliDesign, simulate, and develop PCBAs for oil pump controllers and industrial motor drives. /liliCollaborate with suppliers on the development and simulation activities. /liliPerform worst-case analysis, hardware calculation reports, and define electrical protections. /liliCreate and review all necessary hardware design outputs : /lipbSchematics (DSN, PDF) /b /pliPCB Layout (BRD, Gerber RS274X) /liliBOM (Excel, PDF) /liliBlueprints (.dpd), Drill Tables (ASCII) /liliMechanical integration files (.stp, .dxf) /liliPick Place, Stackup, Fiducial, AOI / FCT / ICT test specs /lipbValidation Debug : /b /pliDebug and resolve issues related to EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal performance. /liliConduct and support hardware integration testing and generate Hardware Integration Test Reports. /liliCollaborate with supplier team for realization of AOI, FCT, and ICT validation. /liliProvide support for DFMEA and risk assessments for design robustness. /lipbCross-functional Collaboration : /b /pliWork closely with firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and testing teams to ensure system compatibility and integration. /liliParticipate in project reviews, gate reviews, and design for manufacturing (DFM) activities. /liliSupport design reviews and audits for ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other relevant automotive standards. /lipbRequired Qualifications : /b /pliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field. /liliMinimum 5–8 years of experience in hardware design for automotive or industrial applications. /liliProven experience in designing and debugging motor control PCBAs and automotive electronic control units (ECUs). /liliStrong understanding of EMC / EMI design principles and compliance testing. /liliProficiency in tools such as Candence OrCAD Tool chain, CAM 350 or equivalent. /liliFamiliar with industry standards : AEC-Q100, IPC standards, etc. /liliFamiliar with FMEA, WCA, thermal and electrical simulation tools. /liliStrong Time Management and collaboration skills are essential /liliExperience in automotive sector. /liliHands-on experience with DC-DC converters, gate drivers, current sensing, and sensor integration. /liliExposure to Model-Based Design, Simulink, or MATLAB for system-level modelling. /liliUnderstanding of CAN, LIN, or other automotive communication protocols. /liliSoft skills of Critical thinking, Attention to detail Interpersonal communication /liliFamiliar with industry standards : ISO 26262 /lipApplications are welcome from candidates of any gender, in accordance with Law 903 / 1977 /ppJ-18808-Ljbffr /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
