Position
The Giovanni Armenise-Harvard laboratory of Immunity and Cancer Lab, at theItalian Institute for Genomic Medicine(IIGM) andIRCCS FPOCandiolo (Turin), Italy, is seeking for highly motivated candidates at all level of seniority (postgraduate, PhD, postdoc) in immunology and epigenetics in the context of cancer.
Research: The lab addresses fundamental aspects of T lymphocyte responses, related to memory T cell differentiation and long-term protective immunity. Our research aims to understand how T lymphocytes integrate complex environmental stimuli and translate these signals into specific epigenetic and differentiation programs. The research’s goal is to use this knowledge to develop novel strategies for the prevention and treatment of cancer, in the field of cancer immunotherapy and vaccine development.
We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary group with national and international collaborations. We combine a variety of approaches, including genetic and genomic techniques, high throughput cell-based assays and tissue spatial organization, next generation sequencing of RNA and epigenetics marks, in both translational and of human cancer biology.
Offered contract: temporary contract (12 months), renewable up to 3 years
* basic knowledge in immunology, molecular biology, epigenetics is an advantage;
* fluent in spoken and written English;
* good communication skills and self-motivation
