A Day in the Life
The Cranial & Spinal Technologies Operating Unit is dedicated to serving the neurosurgical and orthopedic markets by delivering innovative and sustainable technological solutions for cranial and spinal procedures. Our primary focus is on improving patient outcomes, ensuring that healthcare professionals (HCPs) are supported in achieving the best clinical results in an environmentally sustainable manner.
As a technical consultant reporting directly to the Territory Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing hands-on support for the Cranial & Spinal Technologies portfolio. Your responsibilities will include assisting in operating rooms during procedures, as well as contributing to product demonstrations, presentations, meetings, and lab sessions alongside the sales team.
This position is based preferably in Central Italy, in a city with a good logistic position, and requires frequent travel, accounting for at least 75% of your time.
Responsibilities may include the following (and other duties may be assigned):
* Technical responsibility of CST portfolio: intraoperative support for imaging, navigation, spinal, and power products.
* Training and education: technical updates for physicians, nurses, and others related to company technology.
* Support marketing activities.
* Support operational activities (kit and instrument set management and optimization).
* Good attitude to problem solving and strong inclination to relationship listening and communication with others. Flexibility, growth mindset, and proactivity are essential. Being cooperative and able to combine forces in teamwork.
* Work closely with the sales force to deliver strategies and results. Monitor and update funnel opportunities.
* Accountability: be perceived as the key person for technical support in the region.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in the biomedical devices market, preferably in Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery.
* A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for Biomedical Engineering.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* An intermediate level of English is required.
