Ph3Sales Support Engineer for Energy Europe /h3 pWe are now looking for a Sales Support Engineer for Energy Europe to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Greece, but also Turkey, Italy are possible locations. /p h3What you will be doing /h3 pThe position of Sales Support Engineer for Energy Europe business area aims to contribute with technical knowledge and commercial skills to increase sales and relationships with our customers. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDeveloping strong expertise in Wärtsilä’s engine and product portfolio, with a deep understanding of the installed base in your assigned region /li liDemonstrating a solid grasp of customer business models to identify value drivers and craft high‑quality, tailored offers /li liSupporting transactional sales and contributing to agreements upselling and upgrade initiatives as needed /li liCollaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate proposal development /li liReading, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance with local procurement frameworks and identifying strategic opportunities /li liCommunicating fluently in English within a multicultural team environment /li liProficiency in Turkish (even better if native) is essential, as the role involves daily interaction with Turkish‑speaking clients and colleagues /li /ul h3Qualifications / To succeed in this role /h3 ul liA reputation for building trust and credibility with both internal colleagues and external partners /li liStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills, especially in cross‑cultural and cross‑functional settings /li liThe ability to gather and analyze technical and historical data to support sales efforts and streamline information flow /li liA proactive mindset in navigating complex tender documents and aligning them with Wärtsilä’s offerings /li /ul h3Additional information /h3 ul liOccasional travel (approximately 20%) is expected to meet with customers globally, although most meetings are conducted virtually /li /ul h3Why you and us? /h3 pWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
