About the job We are looking for a motivated and curious Finance Intern to join our dynamic Finance team in Milan. About the job You will support the Business Controller in: - Business Partnering: Act as a key business partner by collaborating with various departments (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, HR) to support business decisions and drive financial performance. - Financial Planning:Contribute to the development of accurate forecasts and long-term financial plans, including scenario analysis and investment prioritization. - Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management, highlighting performance trends and actionable insights. - Month-End and Forecast Presentation:Assist in preparing monthly presentations to management highlighting key drivers of performance. - Cash Flow Management:Monitor and analyse cash inflows and outflows to support liquidity planning. - Fixed Spend Analysis and Optimization:Collaborate with the Overhead Controller and purchasing department to identify cost-saving opportunities and support preparing the negotiations. - Ad-Hoc Analysis:Support strategic decisions through tailored financial analysis. - Business Intelligence Tools:Help develop and improve finance BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP, Hyperion).
