The location of the position can be flexible as the majority of projects are around south Italy.
What you will do
The Construction Senior Specialist leads specialized activities in the execution of complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with technical standards, cost controls, and strategic objectives. Provides expertise in contract, schedule, and quality management, contributing to the success of large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and manage detailed technical specifications and execution plans.
* Oversee contractor activities and ensure construction progress meets defined milestones.
* Analyze project data to optimize cost, quality, and schedule performance.
* Lead coordination with engineering, procurement, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Resolve technical and operational issues, escalating risks as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization across construction projects.

What are we looking for
* University degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
* Extensive previous experience in construction project execution, ideally in the energy sector.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, technical standards, and project controls.
* Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution.
* Fluency in Italian and English.
* Relevant experience in the construction of renewable or equivalent large-scale power projects is a plus.
* Experience working in a large utility and multicultural environment is a plus.
