Ph3Overview /h3pWater System EMEA division is seeking a Subject matter expert in regulatory for Drinking Water European legislation (EU 2020/2184, WRAS, ACS, UBA / KTW-BWGL). The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in European legislation on materials in contact with potable water including Article, Delegated Act, and Harmonized European Standard as well as Market Surveillance knowledge. Experience on North American standards like NSF/ANSI/CAN 61/60/372 is considered a plus. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManage project scope, planning, costs, and timelines independently. /liliServe as the main client contact for technical discussions, requirements, and issue resolution. /liliCoordinate and oversee laboratory testing activities and schedules. /liliDefine test programs and evaluate product compliance with UL standards. /liliCommunicate project progress and deliver technical reports and documentation. /liliIdentify non‑compliance issues and advise clients on corrective actions. /liliDevelop new test methods, equipment, and UL requirements when needed. /liliConduct or witness tests at client sites (travel may be required). /liliSupport and trains colleagues, junior engineers, and laboratory staff. /liliEnsure adherence to continuous improvement practices and UL’s Code of Conduct. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pThe ideal candidate has the following qualifications: /pulliUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus eight years directly related work experience. /liliDetailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline. /liliWorking knowledge of conformity standards in use in Drinking Water European legislation (EU 2020/2184, WRAS, ACS, UBA / KTW-BWGL). /liliDemonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in areas of expertise, including application to complex, new, or unusual products. /liliWorking knowledge of industry issues, needs, and problems. /liliFluent level of English, verbal and written. /li /ulh3About Us /h3pA global leader in applied safety science, UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS) transforms safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries.
