The
HR Site Generalist
will act as the primary point of contact for the local site, balancing rigorous HR Administration and Reporting with broad Generalist responsibilities.
The role ensures compliance with Italian labor laws while driving employee engagement and talent development and will be based in Forlì.
Reports to HR Manager Italy.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration & Payroll Support
Manage the full Employee Lifecycle (hiring, extensions, terminations) in compliance with the Italian Labor Law and the specific CCNL (National Collective Labor Agreement).
Coordinate monthly payroll data entry (attendance, leaves, sickness, overtime) for the external payroll provider (e.g., ADP or Zucchetti).
Provide data to external payroll provider to maintain mandatory records and the Libro Unico del Lavoro (LUL).
2. Reporting & HR Analytics
Consolidate and analyze HR data to produce monthly reports on KPIs (Headcount, Turnover, Absenteeism, Labor Costs).
Prepare ad-hoc reports for Site Management and Corporate HQ using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Power BI.
Monitor HR budget variances and headcount planning.
3. HR Generalist & Employee Relations
Talent Acquisition: Lead the full recruitment cycle for local roles.
Training & Development: Identify local training needs and manage mandatory safety training or funded training via Fondi Interprofessionali
Labor Relations: Support the HR Manager in managing relationships with local unions (RSU) and handling disciplinary procedures according to the Statuto dei Lavoratori.
Employee Engagement: Implement site-level initiatives to enhance corporate culture and employee well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in HR administration or as an HR Generalist in Italy.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Italian labor legislation and payroll processes.
Systems: Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting.
Languages: Excellent Italian and English skills (as required in multinational environments).
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in multicultural environment.
