About the Role:
In this role, you will be part of the Automotive Engineering team, supporting the development of innovative electronic products during the Advance Engineering, RFQ, and Bid phases. You will analyze customer requirements, define system architectures, select hardware components, develop hardware schematics, and contribute to the preparation of technical proposals in collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
To manage all the steps of the RFQ flow (Request for Quotation)To analyze, to check and to understand whole customer documentation package, including functional, validation and cyber-security specificationsTo check the global market of electronic components and select the best ones in terms of cost, availability and match with product specificationsTo design complex PCBA architecturesTo develop concepts of optimized PCBA assembly processesTo define the final HW BOM of innovative electronic productsTo design, develop and test prototypes of innovative electronic productsTo interface with suppliers of main electronic components in the global market, asking technical questions and defining the best technical choices for BitronTo interface with the technical experts of Bitron's Customers, preparing and presenting technical documentation in dedicated workshop in the presence of the Technical and Purchasing Managements of Bitron and of CustomersTo define development plans of innovative electronic productsTo define the estimation of R& D development costs of innovative electronic productsWho we are looking for:
5+ years of automotive experience, in a Technical Dept.Proven ability to create and execute project plans that achieve defined expectations within budgetary constraintsProven ability to design complex HW circuitsFamiliarity with electronic components, their market and their usage and applicationKnowledge of SW development and cyber security global standards and algorithmsKnowledge of principles of electronic boards assemblyHighly motivated, self-directed, creative, innovative individualTeam oriented skill setA continuous improvement mentalityExcellent planning and organization skillsFluent English language skillsHow to be successful in the role and at Bitron:
