As a Business Development Lead, you will havesignificant revenue impact and team responsibility. As part of this role, you will:
* Forge and maintain long-term partnerships with new clients, directly contributing to Hive's expansion and revenue growth. Take comprehensive responsibility for the lifecycle of business development.
* Serve as a proactive Hive ambassador, establishing connections with D2C brands in Italy via emails, referrals, in-person events, and more.
* Continuously assess and refine the business development process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage insights and feedback to streamline operations.
* Close complex deals through a solution-driven sales approach, identifying pain points, and coming up with solutions that enhance their operational set-up.
* Actively use and broaden your network within the Italian direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand ecosystem and related sectors to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
* Deeply understand the challenges and operational needs of D2C brands. Serve as a pivotal bridge between clients and internal teams (Product, Tech, and Operations) to ensure customer-centric product development and service offerings.
* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team. Serve as a role model in business development practices, guiding team members towards achieving individual and collective goals.

Your profile
We know - sometimes, you can’t tick every box. We would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit!
* Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in logistics and supply chain management is a plus; 2 years or more relevant working experience is preferred.
* You are enthusiastic about building an early-stage VC-backed company and reshaping D2C e-commerce operations
* You worked for at least 4 years in Business Development, B2B-Sales, or Partnerships within the startup scene or in the logistics sector
* Networking isn't just a skill for you; it's part of your identity
* Hands-on mindset and can get things done in a structured and detail-oriented way
* You embody an entrepreneurial mindset and an insatiable thirst for personal growth.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Fluent or native Italian and English.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects at once, as required
