About the role Plans, directs, and leads project teams using Trinseo Thrive Project Management Work Processes to meet business or site goals. 30% Controls project costs and schedules within authorized limits. 20% Coordinates with the Business Management Team to develop Opportunity Definition and Business Case in FEL 1, ensuring stakeholder understanding and support. 10% Leads development of FEL 2 to define process technology and costs, and prepares Early Authorization Package for management approval. 10% Prepares FEL 3 to define project organization and execution, and submits Final Authorization Package. 10% Manages design and construction in the execution phase, ensuring engineering and building meet plans and budgets. 10% Oversees commissioning, startup, and project closure activities, ensuring safety, timeliness, and knowledge recording. 10% Minimum Education and Experience Requires a broad knowledge of chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering principles, typically attained by a B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of experience in Plant Operations and/or Project Implementation. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Practical knowledge of Process Safety principles, environmental regulations, and company guidelines for compliance. Project Management Professional Certification preferred. Strong management skills for planning, organizing, and controlling project efforts with value-based decision making. Expertise in risk analysis and mitigation to ensure project success. Excellent communication skills for cross-cultural interactions; proficiency in English required, local language desirable. Interpersonal skills for influencing, negotiating, and representing project interests. Problem-solving skills and commitment to equity and inclusion.
