JOB DESCRIPTION
Ecolab is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Team Leader to join Ecolab, a global leader in water treatment, food safety & product quality and comprehensive commercial laundry solutions. In this role, you will coordinate a team of Maintenance Technicians, managing preventive, corrective maintenance activities and installations for industrial clients within the Italian territory.
You will plan the activities and will act as the team’s technical expert, providing guidance and hands-on support while working directly with customers to resolve technical issues and deliver high levels of service and satisfaction.
How you'll make an impact:
1. Create monthly and weekly work plans for the team, aligning customer needs with preventive maintenance programs, corrective requirements and installations.
2. Assign tasks and responsibilities to each team member
3. Develop preventive maintenance plans for customers within the assigned territory
4. Provide remote technical support for troubleshooting and issue resolution
5. Lead and develop the maintenance team, including technical training and professional development
6. Equipment Installation and commission in Food & Bevarage industries and industrial laundries environment.
7. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance services on installed applications. Carry out preventive maintenance and repair services to ensure proper operation and care of company equipment.
8. Participate in spare parts sales activities
9. Collaborate with the engineering team during the design, installation, and maintenance phases of projects
10. Visit customer sites in compliance with safety standards to assess results of implemented treatment programs
11. Conduct equipment inspections to monitor operating conditions and performance quality, preparing the corresponding reports
12. Perform equipment installations and start-ups at assigned customer sites
13. Participate in team meetings focused on continuous improvement of customer service
14. Document and communicate delivered services clearly, ensuring transparency and added value for customers
Qualifications:
15. Technical education:
Engineering (Industrial or Chemical)
Electromechanics in a similar position with more than 10 year experience.
16. A minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating or leading a team
17. Valid driving license
18. Proficiency in computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
19. Location: Remote position
20. Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
21. Knowledge and aptitude in electricity, mechanics, pumping systems (centrifuge, metering), and handling of related materials
22. At least 3 years of experience in roles involving customer interaction as part of an installation and service team
23. Experience in installation project management
