Position Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Milan. This role is pivotal in introducing new products and sources, improving supplier competitiveness, and managing relationships to ensure timely product range development and support major programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including regular appraisals and development meetings.
2. Manage new product introduction and critical path processes, ensuring timely delivery.
3. Identify and negotiate with new suppliers to improve margin competitiveness.
4. Support major programmes by ensuring capacity, quality, and risk management.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and attend trade fairs to stay ahead of market trends.
Requirements
6. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Procurement or Sourcing Manager in a similar role.
7. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
8. Proven ability to manage critical paths and deliver projects on time.
9. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
10. Ability to travel as required.
