PpJoin to apply for the bMetal Hardware Technical Developer /b role at bBurberry /b. /p pIn this role, you will oversee the development of new metal hardware for leather goods as an area of excellence for Burberry. You will manage new development projects with suppliers to ensure that metal hardware meets style, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of metal hardware development procedures and support suppliers in material and process innovation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide technical support to design and product development teams: understand creative needs, analyse and interpret metal hardware design, provide technical support, identify critical development issues and propose solutions. /li liManage the development phase to define requirements, propose existing and innovative solutions, ensure the feasibility and quality of new metal hardware and anticipate the industrialisation timetable from the beginning. /li liManage technical development in partnership with suppliers: formalise requirements, analyse technical risks of projects and propose measures to mitigate these risks. /li liEstablish a strong and collaborative relationship with suppliers to keep up to date and meet material development targets by monitoring supplier performance. /li liNegotiate metal hardware costs using technical specifications. /li liEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, government regulations, restrictions, safety protocols and performance standards relating to metal hardware. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in metal hardware development or a similar role. /li liDegree in Materials Technology, Engineering or another relevant field. /li liGood knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhinoceros and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). /li liStrong knowledge of metal hardware design and manufacturing. /li liFluency in Italian and English is essential. /li liProven track record of delivering results through project management and working with cross‑functional teams. /li liPrevious experience with high fashion or luxury brands is a plus. /li /ul pBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
