Job Title: People Operations Specialist
About the Role:
The People Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that assigned plants are staffed appropriately to labor planning, including initiating requisition approval processes, advertising, screening resumes, interviewing, and ensuring management involvement in the selection process.
This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Staffing Management: Ensure that assigned plants are adequately staffed to meet labor needs, including managing recruitment, interview processes, and onboarding new hires.
* Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment to associates (Zucchetti System).
* Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by promoting company core values and code of conduct, providing coaching and feedback to HR Generalist team members.
* Data Analysis: Analyze data on staff turnover, costs, and other relevant metrics to inform fact-based decisions.
* Safety Management: Collaborate with plant safety teams to maintain a safe work environment, investigate incidents, and implement countermeasures to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required.
* Experience: At least 1 year of experience in HR coordination or generalist roles, preferably in manufacturing environments.
* Skills: Excellent communication, computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and adaptability to changing situations.
