**Core responsibilities**:

- hierarchically to the CEO based in Italy
- functionally to the Chief Information Officer base in Germany
The Group IT manager looks after and controls the entire IT landscape of a region reporting to Corporate IT.
**Responsibilities**:
You are co-responsible for the definition of the Corporate IT Strategy.
You are responsible for the execution of the Corporate IT Strategy and the alignment with the business strategy within the region oversee.
Developing, defining, and improving standards and processes within the region.
Drive and facilitate effective collaboration and communications between the IT organization and the operational units within the region
As a member of the Corporate IT management team and the Regional management team, advises on ICT opportunities, optimizations, and innovations.
Contact person and link between the IT department and external service providers. As a people manager, steer and guide your team to work towards common goals.
Develop competencies to be on top of trends and technology.
Oversee the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance — as well as performance management frameworks and metrics — to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the company.

**Requirements**:
Successfully completed IT studies.
Ideally several years professional experience in relevant areas at the interface between IT and Business.
Very good knowledge of the concept, design, and operation of heterogeneous IT landscapes.
Experienced in IT service management and administration of internal and cloud infrastructure.
Experience in migration of on-premises IT environment into the cloud is a plus
Very good know-how in IT security, including datacenter, cloud, end-user devices, processes.
Experience in network technologies (virtual networks, routers, firewalls).
**Personal Qualities Required for the Position**:
Strong team, customer and service orientation on the one hand and being highly self-motivated to drive change.
Thorough knowledge and experience in project and quality management methods (Agile, Scrum, ITIL).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting and dynamic priorities.
