Position Summary
We are looking for a Procurement intern to join our Direct Procurement Central Team.
As a member of the Procurement team, you will perform the fulfillment of the Suppliers "Packaging & Documentation" category for all Ariston EU plants, reporting to the Buyer of Packaging, through commercial negotiation, price list management, ordering, operations monitoring and KPI follow-up.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Being the PROC reference point for internal functions;
Negotiating contracts with suppliers;
Monitoring and improving supplier performance (Price Variance, Payment Terms, Service Level, Quality, etc.);
Managing data inside the SAP system (delivery plans, prices, code/supplier information, data analysis);
Ensuring new suppliers "onboarding";
Benchmarking for PROC to identify cost-reduction opportunities and develop cost-reduction plans;
Supporting new product management (new codes, supplier selection);
Supporting collection activities (Long Term Declaration/Plastic Tax/Conformity/customs documents);
Providing support to plants/production to make the shipment happen;
Issuing invoices;
Measuring and comparing Level of Service and Economics to target levels.
As Our Ideal Candidate
You have a degree in Management Engineering or Economics and a brilliant academic career.
Analysis and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem-solving and flexibility complete the profile.
English knowledge and good proficiency in the main MSOffice tools are basic requirements.
Knowledge of SAP R3 and SQL basis is a plus.
