As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and experienced: Financial Operations Manager This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our Italy Consumer Finance Shared Service Center, leading a team of more than 25 FTEs across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury. The position ensures smooth daily operations and supports strategic improvements that enable efficient business scaling. The role also includes ownership of the monthly closing process according to Group policies and monitoring KPIs to maintain high service levels across the finance department. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations to all internal and external stakeholders Manage the workload of team members, ensuring deadlines and service expectations are consistently met Drive the implementation of standardized and optimized processes to continuously improve operational efficiency Analyze current workflows to identify bottlenecks and develop effective solutions to improve accuracy, control, and performance Lead the monthly closing activities for AP, AR, and Treasury in close collaboration with the Controlling and other Finance teams Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners, such as banks and payment service providers Provide support during internal and external audits and work closely with Tax, General Ledger, and Controlling teams Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and financial reporting tools Participate in defining and improving policies and procedures related to financial operations Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency Foster collaboration within the finance department to align on processes and shared responsibilities Promote best practices in financial processes, internal controls, and compliance Support employee development through coaching, career pathing, and recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with US GAAP is a plus Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, particularly in transactional operations Experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is an advantage Proficiency in SAP Finance Experience with internal controls frameworks (e.g., SOX ) is beneficial Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive, well-organized, and self-motivated professional Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvement This job posting is open to all individuals regardless of gender, age, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religious belief, in accordance with Legislative Decrees 198/2007, 215/2003, and 216/2003.
