Who we’re looking for
To strengthen our Fabric & Home Care Engineering team, we are looking for a Senior Engineer / Project Manager with proven experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of production lines and industrial plants within the consumer goods sector.
You’ll lead complex engineering projects from concept to start-up, bringing innovation, structure, and efficiency to every stage. Your key responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project execution: from feasibility studies and conceptual design through detailed engineering, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
* Define project scope, capital budgets, cost controls, critical path schedules, and risk assessments.
* Oversee detailed design of production lines and plants, including automation, predictive maintenance, and digital systems for touchless process and quality control.
* Supervise internal and external teams for design, construction, and implementation phases.
* Design and deploy control systems and plant management logic, incorporating cutting-edge AI tools where applicable.
* Ensure thorough equipment and system testing, including Factory and Site Acceptance Tests, pre-start-up inspections, and full qualification.
* Coordinate with procurement, planning, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
* Provide support during and after start-up, facilitating knowledge transfer to operational teams and ensuring ongoing performance of new systems.
Requisiti
What you bring
* A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in engineering and project management, ideally in the design and implementation of industrial machinery or production systems.
* Strong expertise in digital systems, automation, and industrial plant design.
* Solid knowledge of project management practices, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and commissioning.
* Hands-on experience or a keen interest in AI tools applied to engineering challenges.
* A creative mindset, proactive approach to problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional efforts.
