PpQuintas Energy is seeking an Accountant with at least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining a log and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, monthly closing reports in line with internal cost control accounting rules, appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all fixed asset accounts, bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, preparing annual work papers for year‑end audits and calculation and presentation of taxes. /p h3Roles And Responsibilities /h3 ul liGeneral accounts, accruals and prepayments, invoicing and bookkeeping. /li liCalculate monthly accrued income. /li liPreparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts. /li liPreparation of monthly closing and reports for the clients. /li liPreparation of internal and external audits and liaison with auditors. /li liCredit control, budgets, cash flows and payments online under BACs and CHAPs. /li liBalance Sheet reconciliations. /li liSupervision and control of timely billing and related payments. /li liPreparing and submitting VAT / Corporation tax returns and liaison with HMRC and tax advisors. /li liPreparing documentation and justifications for VAT inspections/penalties. /li liPreparing KPIs for review. /li liDealing with customers/suppliers and other departments. /li liFulfil annual statutory accounts and prepare SPV level tagging for submission to HMRC (UK) and liaison with auditors. /li liReporting Aged Debtors and Creditors. /li liAccruals and prepayment maintenance of all trackers. /li liAssistance in cash flow forecast (short term) – cash needs report. /li liSupporting the preparation of trading position reports. /li liAssistance in cash sweep calculation. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liDirect exposure to the business /li liSocial benefits as paid time off on December 24th and 31st, and on your birthday starting from the second year of your contract. CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred. /li liMinimum of 3 years of experience as Accountant. (Accountancy level will be assessed). /li liLanguages: at least full Italian competence and fluent B2 in English (will be assessed during an interview).
