OverviewIn this role you lead Amazon MGM Studios’ theatrical publicity in Italy, shaping campaigns that connect with audiences and drive box office. You will partner with US/EMEA teams, manage local agencies, and guide corporate storytelling around Italy’s theatrical expansion. You’ll handle high‑profile media relations, events, and strategic counsel to leadership, delivering measurable earned media impact. This role offers a chance to influence cultural conversations and scale a growing theatrical business in Italy.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic publicity campaigns for all Italian theatrical releases
- Develop corporate messaging for Amazon MGM Studios’ theatrical expansion in Italy
- Manage local agencies and external vendors to execute campaigns
- Coordinate press events, talent appearances, and premieres across Italy
- Cultivate relationships with media, critics, influencers, industry stakeholders
- Provide strategic counsel to US and Italy leadership on market opportunities
- Develop messaging and handle issues management for talent and spokespeople
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and media coverage across Italy
- Design tastemaker events and activations to generate earned media
- Oversee regional festival strategy in line with global priorities
- Manage theatrical publicity budgets with focus on ROI
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, social, digital, distribution)
- Present strategies and results to stakeholders and external parties
- Mentor junior team members and agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Entertainment publicity experience in the Italian market with oversight of theatrical PR campaigns
- Proven xlwpduy track record of leading theatrical publicity campaigns from strategy to execution
- Experience managing high‑profile talent relationships and navigating complex media situations
- Strong relationships with Italian media outlets, journalists
