PLC/SCADA Programmer – TXT GROUP
Join the Industrial division of TXT E-Tech to develop and implement high‑quality PLC/SCADA solutions across national and international projects. Candidates will be involved from drafting hardware specifications through system installation and start‑up.
Main responsibilities
* Sizing of components and preparation of technical documentation (diagrams, drawings, reports) necessary for implementation.
* Functional definition of the assigned project, focusing on system functionality, software design and development, and all related installation, start‑up and testing activities both in‑house and on customer premises worldwide.
* Definition and conduct of internal testing of all project functionalities and creation of structured test reports.
* Based on seniority, conduct software start‑up at the end customer’s premises in accordance with project timing, testing and validating all functionalities, and implementing any functional changes while coordinating with the product contact to support continuous improvement and follow‑up for FAT/SAT.
* Directly produce technical documentation for internal or external use, including operator manuals for customers.
* Cost analysis of the designed solutions.
Technical skills required
* At least 3 years’ experience in PLC and SCADA development/programming using major automation software (Twincat Beckhoff, Step7 Siemens, Wonderware, Movicon, or similar), communication buses and field components.
* Experience in plant design and industrial/building automation.
* Experience designing power panels and electrical diagrams for machines/plants, including modifications for specific configurations.
* Experience designing automation, supervision and control panels.
* Experience in wiring diagrams for the entire system and compiling I/O maps using CAD design programmes with electrical applications.
* For more senior resources, experience coordinating the work team on industrial automation projects.
Education
Diploma/Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science with a focus on automation.
Preferred (plus) qualifications
* Good knowledge of programming in Codesys and Twincat (IEC 61131) languages according to ANSI/ISA and PackML standards.
* Knowledge of networking.
* Experience programming in .NET and C# languages.
Language & communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in English.
