What are my responsibilities?

As a Train Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) Engineer, you are a member of a team whose expertise is highly valued by Alstom and our customers. You ensure that our products are efficient, reliable, and safe, enabling complex and innovative transportation systems to operate daily. Your responsibilities include:

* Defining and deploying the RAMS process for rolling-stock projects.
* Serving as the point of contact for all RAMS topics with stakeholders.
* Managing RAMS activities work packages.
* Supporting technical solution design to meet RAMS performance and regulatory requirements.
* Advising other functions to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
* Using data-driven and predictive tools for RAMS analysis.
* Proposing innovative tools, methods, and products to monitor and improve RAMS performance.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

This role requires a balance of independent mindset and strong collaboration skills. You are eager to be involved in the overall rolling stock development from a technical and project management perspective. You seek in-depth technical understanding and cover the entire rolling-stock scope. You approach problem-solving collaboratively and can resolve issues creatively.

* A degree in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, energy, nuclear engineering, or equivalent training.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, including with third parties (customers).

Preferred qualifications

* 5 years of experience in RAMS within railway rolling stock.

Our culture is agile, inclusive, and responsible, providing diverse individuals with opportunities to grow, learn, and advance their careers. We are committed to encouraging our employees to reach their full potential while respecting and valuing them as individuals.
