Your responsibilities
The resource will be placed in the Engineering Department. He/she will develop basic and detailed engineering, interacting with external suppliers for outsourced detailed engineering follow-up. The designer will collaborate with the Project Execution Department for project management and procurement of materials. He/she will also participate in technical meetings at clients’ sites or supplier locations and may be involved in supervision activities during erection, commissioning, and start-up phases.
Main responsibilities and contents
In detail, he/she will be responsible for:
* Designing plant layouts;
* 3D modelling of piping, supports, and structures;
* Drafting 2D technical drawings supporting engineering activities;
* Coordinating detailed engineering by external companies and reviewing subcontractor documentation;
* Participating in technical meetings;
* Conducting inspections at suppliers' workshops;
* Assisting in assembly, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Your profile
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferably in mechanical engineering) or equivalent;
* 3-5 years of experience as an industrial plant designer;
* Proficiency in main IT tools (Word, Excel) and AUTOCAD;
* Knowledge of 3D piping modelling software (specifically E3D by Aveva);
* Good written and spoken English skills;
* Availability for short trips within Italy and abroad (extra EU);
* Proactive attitude, good will, and ability to work individually and in teams.
