In this role you design and optimize LSR tooling and molds using advanced simulation to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will integrate simulation insights into the design process, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven engineering solutions aligned with TE’s automotive goals. You’ll work on tool development, validation, and industrialization from early stages, shaping tooling performance and process outcomes. This is a hands‑on, impact‑oriented position in a global, multicultural environment.

* Design and develop LSR tools and related equipment for efficient demolding
* Create accurate 3D models, drawings, and assembly layouts for tooling and mold subsystems
* Lead and conduct simulation analyses (SigmaSoft, Moldflow, Ansys) to validate tool/process performance
* Translate simulation results into design improvements and process optimizations
* Maintain CAD models, drawings and revision history using PDMLink
* Provide technical documentation and guidance to suppliers for correct construction drawings
* Identify and resolve production/mold issues via simulation‑driven root cause analysis
* Support cross‑functional activities (PFMEA, problem solving, continuous improvement)
* Support tool debugging, validation, and industrialization through process release
Responsabilità
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 1+ years of tool design experience with simulation exposure
* Hands‑on experience with SigmaSoft, Moldflow, or Ansys
* Proficiency with 3D CAD (CREO)
* Basic understanding of injection molding; knowledge of LSR is a plus
* Ability to interpret simulation results and apply to design/manufacturing improvements
* Strong analytical/problem‑solving mindset with a proactive, results‑driven approach
* Good English communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment
