PURPOSE OF THE POSITION We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, relationship builder and action-oriented Manager to lead our Veterinary Channel through the creation and implementation of marketing and commercial strategies. This role is crucial in establishing the company as the reference for veterinarians in cat and dog nutrition. The Italian Vet Manager will lead and develop a team of 30 people to become the partner of choice for veterinarians, building strong connections with Veterinary Universities, associations, Vet Corporates, and the Vet Market. This role will foster collaboration between vet and commercial channels to build synergies and achieve common goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate must lead the Veterinary channel in Italy. Ideal candidates come from healthcare or veterinary sectors with a strong understanding of that market's dynamics. The candidate should be able to think strategically and execute flawlessly. Core functions: Manage the Italian Vet Team of 30 people with excellence. Build collaboration with the Commercial team to create recommendation engines, improve efficiencies, and leverage synergies. Develop and implement plans with the marketing team to ensure perfect execution. Establish standards and KPIs for business performance tracking. Deploy trade promotional plans in coordination with the commercial director for key customers. Accelerate vet digital recommendations and shape the digital ecosystem. Support distributors with marketing actions in the vet channel. Manage vet budget and monitor expenditures. Contribute to the development of the company's Vet Strategy. Participate actively in the European Vet Community to shape future strategies and regional initiatives. MAIN SKILLS Leadership skills. Business acumen.
