To audit all daily income that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as Rooms, F&B and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting system.
How your day looks like?
* Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Reports to the Hotel & F&B management Team.
* Review all paid-outs, revenue adjustments, rebates and allowances for reasonableness, properly approved with supporting documentation, and report any deviations from hotel policies and procedures.
* Review the Night Manager’s report on a daily basis.
* Check the guest in-house rate check report; variances must be explained by Front Office.
* Ensure complimentary and house use rooms come with appropriate supporting documentation.
* Monitor guests checked out with open paymaster accounts (Guest Ledger).
* Track guests in-house with credit limits exceeded (High Balance Report).
* Periodically conduct training for Front Office staff.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification or experience in Accounting or Finance.
* Prior experience as an Accounts Payable clerk or equivalent.
* Experience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (French advantageous).
* Effective organization, communication, and presentation skills.
