Responsibilities
* Ensure that key industrial constraints and processes are applied during production, and that key planning information (lead time, stock levels, customer delivery planning, etc.) is known, managed and communicated.
* Define action plans to reduce delivery risk (lead time, obsolescence, stock levels for internal and external warehouses) and validate specific procurement anticipations.
* Assure proper material delivery follow-up of assigned products, securing material flow from suppliers, internal/external warehouses, and final customer destinations in terms of procurement and logistics.
* Manage materials/components procurement plan with focus on stock reduction and service level to the customer.
* Support the definition of industrial scheme and related make-or-buy strategy with Industrialization and Sourcing department.
* Interface with Procurement / Material Planning to schedule Purchase Orders.
* Interface with Logistics to schedule shipping.
* Supervise material procurement, product manufacturing and testing, and logistics & shipment.
* Activate needs in ERP tool and validate purchase requests for BUY products; release work orders for MAKE products.
* Interface with manufacturing team to set MPS at least monthly and attend weekly meetings for manufacturing follow-up.
* Perform material variance analysis and material movement management between sites and warehouses.
* Define and manage material procurement and delivery plan; ensure on-time material deliveries to the project.
* Monitor inventory levels and coverage; provide organizational reporting.
Qualifications
* Educational Requirements: University Degree in Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position or in project planning roles.
The job holder will report directly to the Industrial Planning Manager.
