About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team supervising and assisting with railway infrastructure projects across Europe. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in both national and international projects that will push you to exceed your limits daily in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
You will become part of a multidisciplinary group where you will play a key role in the development of the projects. Additionally, you'll gain a global perspective on various businesses and technologies in a flexible and trustworthy work environment.
About You
* Educational background: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, preferably with specialization in structures.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in design, construction, or supervision of structures on site, preferably in railway infrastructure projects. Previous experience in high-speed railway infrastructure will be an asset.
* Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required. Knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of structural construction procedures, on-site resolution of structural conflicts, knowledge of structural design and analysis, performance with design and construction regulations based on Eurocodes, coordination and planning.
Responsibilities
1. Integration in the supervision and technical assistance team to ensure the faithful compliance of the design project structures during construction.
2. Collaborate with the structural design team to solve construction problems that require their intervention.
3. Review shop drawings and technical specifications of materials provided by the contractor.
4. Maintain fluid communication with the different project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
5. Make periodic reports on the progress of the work and communicate any deviation from the initial planning.
