Backed by major infrastructure investors with over €300 million in committed capital, the company is rapidly deploying a pipeline of solar and battery storage projects - initially targeting 1.4 GW with long-term ambitions exceeding 6 GW nationwide. Due to this growth, they're currently looking for a Procurement Specialist/Senior Buyer to join their newly built team. /ppPosition Summary: /ppWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to support our Procurement Department in the sourcing and purchasing of key components for solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in procurement and grow within the renewable energy sector. You will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional departments, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. /ppCandidates with experience in EPC projects or electrical construction - including familiarity with substations, switchgears, panels, cables, and related components are strongly encouraged to apply. /ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliSupport sourcing activities by identifying and evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance. /liliMaintain accurate inventory levels and generate purchase orders for required materials and components. /liliTrack and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues. /liliLiaise with suppliers to address delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns. /liliCollaborate with internal departments including logistics, sales, and finance to streamline procurement operations. /liliConduct market research to analyse trends, pricing, and product availability. /liliAssist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and supplier agreements when necessary. /liliReview product specifications and samples to verify compliance with quality standards. /liliCoordinate with the ESG Manager to monitor supplier adherence to human rights, fair labour, and DI policies. /liliHandle administrative tasks including record-keeping, documentation, and report preparation. /li /ulpSkills Qualifications: /pulliBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). /lili1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the solar, wind, or BESS sector (internships or part-time roles acceptable). /liliExperience in EPC projects or electrical construction (e.g., substations, panels, switchgears, cables) is highly desirable. /liliStrong communication and negotiation skills. /liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). /liliFamiliarity with ERP or purchasing software is a plus. /liliGood understanding of supply chain and procurement principles. /liliDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills. /liliFluent in English (spoken and written); Italian proficiency is a plus. /li /ulpWhy Join Us: /ppThis is an excellent opportunity to gain industry-specific procurement experience in a growing renewable energy company.
