This role is crucial in ensuring that the golf course maintenance team has fully operational, safe, and reliable equipment to deliver the superior playing conditions expected at Tenuta Toscana.We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with deep mechanical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for excellence.Main duties and responsibilitiesMaintain, repair, and service all golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, small engines, and attachments.Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Lead and mentor a team of mechanics and technicians; provide training in safety and equipment handling.Oversee daily inspections, ensuring all equipment is in top working order before heading out to the course.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance facility.Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and tool inventories.Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Foremen to anticipate needs and prioritize repairs.Manage the equipment maintenance budget, procurement of parts, and vendor relationships.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and local regulations.Requirements5+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician in golf course, turf, or heavy equipment maintenance
