About the role
As an Account Executive with Diageo, you are responsible for ensuring our customer, category, and brand plans are executed effectively in-store / outlet to drive sell-out of our brands. You will ensure that consumers and shoppers encounter our brands consistently and appealingly.
Portfolio : Core, Reserve, Innovation, Packaged beer
Customers : Cocktail bars, nightclubs, pubs, and restaurants with a potential sell-out of at least 300 liters of spirits annually (excluding the aperitif category).
Responsibilities :
* Outlet identification and segmentation : Identify outlets within the territory, categorize them based on segmentation guidelines, and record them using CRM tools. Visit outlets as per call frequency.
* Driving distribution : Identify partnership opportunities, collaborate with the Account Manager and sales team, and negotiate distribution and activation agreements.
* Implementation of standards : Ensure sales drivers are prioritized, promotional activities are executed as per the calendar, and performance is monitored and corrected if necessary.
* Teamwork : Coordinate with the Account Manager and report to the Regional Manager to identify partnership opportunities with outlets served by wholesalers.

* Willing to work evenings and nights regularly.
* Experience : At least 1 year in sales, preferably in on-trade channels.
* Languages : Proficient in Italian and English.
