Activities
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is a worker capable of performing necessary tasks for the routine and extraordinary maintenance of machinery used in production, including their periodic checks and repairs.
* Knowledge of mechanical components, electromechanical elements, and mechanical processing techniques, as well as mechanical maintenance techniques and assembly of mechanical parts of machinery/plants.
* Assistance to subcontracted companies for preventive and corrective interventions. Assistance and verification of report completion.
* Preparation of preventive sheets following internal inspections.
* Replacement of consumable parts, utility control operations. Mechanical disassembly and reassembly, assistance to mechanics for mechanical activities and to electricians for electrical activities (off voltage).
* Disassembly, review, and reassembly of pumps, electric motors, fans, reducers, agitators, valves, and mechanical devices with replacement of bearings, mechanical seals, gland packing, and gaskets. Dimensional checks of shafts, bearing seats, and mechanical parts.
* Alignment of rotating machines using comparators and digital tools.
* Complete daily reports of work performed and machine sheets.
* Knowledge of workshop machine tools (lathe, milling machine, pillar drill, etc.).
* Fault diagnosis and understanding, operational autonomy, and mechanical drawing knowledge.
* Identification of faults or operational anomalies.
* Execution of repairs directly, proposing potential improvements.
* Routine, scheduled, and extraordinary maintenance of production machinery.
* Implementation of predictive maintenance checks.
Skills
* Mechanical technician for disassembly, repair, and overhaul of transmission groups, mechanical seals, agitators, pumps, fans, and machines with moving parts.
* Ability to work on-site directly in the field and at the workshop for mechanical interventions. The mechanic should be a directly employed worker without subcontracting to ensure activities in confined spaces.
Minimum Requirements:
* Confined space certification or rescue personnel certification for working in confined spaces.
* Confined space certification or rescue personnel certification for working in confined spaces, high-altitude work, high chemical risk. Forklift or forklift license.
Certifications:
* TIG and electrode welder certifications. Direct employment without subcontracting to ensure activities in confined spaces.
