Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Manager Engineering 1 to lead & manage the Triton MQ-4C Maintenance/FSR Team supporting U.S. Navy forces in Sigonella, Italy. Responsibilities Direct and schedule Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in executing software upgrades, systems integration and testing, and flight and maintenance operations for the Triton aircraft. Maintain direct liaison with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) affecting Air Vehicle (AV) and Ground Segment (GSEG) systems. May be required to attain and maintain Air Vehicle or GSEG system qualifications. May be assigned as Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) on the Air Vehicle (AV) or GSEG (FOB). Direct and oversee program maintenance IAW safety regulations and established corporate policy, procedures and government regulations including the IETM for the MQ-4C Triton IFC-4 UAS, Fleet Engineering Dispositions, Technical Directives, Contractor Operating Procedures, and program maintenance procedures. Execute maintenance requirements in coordination with customer maintenance leadership, program engineers, Site Lead and Senior Site Lead. Direct Site personnel daily schedules, including subcontractors, to meet program objectives on time. In the absence of Site Lead, or as delegated, may assign Safety personnel in support of the safety program. Assist or provide directions to the FSR Team to support Navy ground/flight operations. Work with Site Lead, Senior Site Lead, Program and Engineering teams to ensure MQ-4C UAS are operational and available for customer operations tempo. Collect and report system maintenance data metrics to support Reliability and Maintainability efforts. Ensure system configuration aligns with the Program’s Configuration and Data Management Plans. Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities follow established policies and procedures. Participate in ground operating procedures audits, inspections, and/or compliance reviews IAW DCMA 8210.1D. Provide feedback during daily maintenance pass downs, shift turnover or meetings. Travel 100% to Sigonella, Italy or other OCONUS locations to support AV divert or customer operations. This is a long-term assignment with allowances (HOLA, COLA, IMI, etc.). Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering. Two years of Systems Test Engineering or Systems Integration Engineering experience Prior experience working in flight operations Technical MQ-4C Triton Aircraft experience (or similar) Active DoD Secret clearance Eligible to upgrade/maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft/Teams Experience managing a maintenance department supporting an FSR function MQ-4C Aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, ground handling, launch/recovery, Safe for Flight Knowledge of NAVY/NAVAIR/NAMP/OPNAVINST 4790.2, OOMA, DCMA 8210.1D Willing to travel/live 100% abroad Have valid/current passport credentials Primary Level Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
