Driven by strong business growth and ongoing investments in the company and its IT landscape, Sediver wants to strengthen its Group IT team and build the foundation for the future. The company's Group IT acts as a strong business partner and drives systems and process innovation, as well as process efficiency and control. Several strategic transformation projects are ongoing or planned, including the deployment of AI across business and operations. To support this acceleration, the company is now building an in-house AI capability and is looking for a Junior AI Developer to join the Group IT team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The AI Developer will support Sediver ambition to build and scale internal AI capabilities across business and operations. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and deploying AI-powered solutions, particularly leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based systems, integrated into core enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365.
The position contributes to the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives, from use case identification and solution design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The AI Developer collaborates closely with IT, business stakeholders, and R&D teams to drive innovation, enhance process efficiency, and support advanced use cases in areas such as materials science, manufacturing, and quality. A key aspect of the role is ensuring robust AI data infrastructure and governance, including compliance with regulations and standards such as GDPR, EU AI Act, and ISO 27001.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
* AI Agent Development: Develop and assist in orchestrating AI agents inside business applications (SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365) using platforms such as SAP Joule, Salesforce AgentForce and Microsoft Copilot Studio, under technical guidance from senior engineers.
* LLM-based Solutions: Implement solutions based on Large Language Models (Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI), including prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) strategies.
* AI Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain data pipelines, connectors and integrations between enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure) and AI/ML platforms to ensure clean, governed and accessible data for AI workloads.
* Model Deployment: Deploy machine learning and AI models into production for business and R&D use cases, integrating them with existing applications through REST APIs and microservices (e.G. FastAPI, Flask).
* R&D Support: Collaborate with R&D laboratories in France to prototype and operationalize AI/ML models for materials science, quality and manufacturing use cases.
* Use Case Discovery: Work with IT and business stakeholders to identify and qualify AI use cases, translate them into technical requirements and contribute to functional specifications.
* Monitoring & Quality: Monitor model performance, output quality, hallucinations and token cost; implement model evaluation routines and human-in-the-loop controls.
* AI Governance: Support the security and compliance team in enforcing AI governance — EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIS2; bias and fairness controls; protection against prompt injection and data leakage; awareness of vendor lock-in trade-offs.
* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document architectures, pipelines, prompts and configurations; share knowledge with ITcolleagues and contribute to internal AI best practices.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
* 0–3 years' experience in software development, data engineering or applied AI/ML
* Curiosity and strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs and agentic systems
* Business fluent English (written and spoken)
* Willingness for occasional domestic and international business travel (up to 10%)
QUALIFICATIONS
AI / Machine Learning
* Working knowledge of Machine Learning, NLP and Generative AI fundamentals
* Hands-on experience with at least one ML framework: PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
* Hands-on experience with at least one LLM provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google)
Generative AI stack
* Familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph
* Hugging Face Transformers
* At least one vector database (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma or FAISS)
* Prompt engineering and RAG patterns
* Model evaluation and AI cost / token management
Development & Data
* Solid Python skills
* One additional language a plus (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#)
* SQL
* REST APIs and microservices (FastAPI or Flask)
* Git and CI/CD
* Exposure to cloud and data platforms
MLOps (familiarity expected, ownership not required)
* MLflow or Weights & Biases
