Position: Cyber Security System Engineer
As a leading company within the Fastweb group specializing in Cyber Security, we are seeking a Cyber Security System Engineer to further develop our Delivery team. The ideal candidate has experience in implementing security solutions and will be responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating key market technologies, working with 7Layers as a partner at client sites in central and southern Italy.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Cyber Security Architect during the design phase.
2. Critically analyze project documentation.
3. Review vendor documentation (manuals, technical guides, white papers, etc.).
4. Install, configure, and integrate major market products (NGFW, DLP, WAF, IPS/IDS, proxy, networking devices, anti-spam, anti-malware, SIEM, etc.) at client sites.
5. Coordinate with the technical project manager on activity progress.
6. Maintain good knowledge of networking: logical/physical addressing, routing and switching, TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, DNS, DHCP protocols.
7. Good knowledge of Router, Firewall, NGFW, WAF, IPS/IDS.
8. Understanding of Windows, Linux, and ESXi operating systems.
9. Minimum experience in system administration.
10. Experience in documentation writing.
11. Proficiency in English (Level B1/B2).
