What You Will Do This position will work as an integral part of the European Engineering Center (EEC), an extension of the Global Controls product organization. The role involves contributing to the NPI (New Product Introduction) process for new field device products (actuators, sensors, controllers, etc.) and defining improvements and customizations of existing products. You will collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams across US, India, and China to develop a successful portfolio for V&A, focusing on the European market. The ideal candidate should have a background in HW and FW design for controllers and electronic devices, along with knowledge of control systems and control methodologies. Familiarity with HVAC/BAS systems is a plus. How You Will Do It Leading the technical specifications and development of new product HW/FW. Design and develop HW/FW for next-generation products, with experience in analog and digital design. Driving innovations in product development processes. Participating in system development to ensure compliance with standards (CE, UL, etc.). Evaluating product requirements and constraints. Managing project schedules and budgets. Leading projects from design to deployment, coordinating with various teams. Handling mechanical design, CAD, electronic control boards, documentation, PLM, and testing activities. Defining and supporting product conformance and qualification testing. Analyzing and resolving complex HW/SW issues. Conducting risk analysis and mitigation planning. Contributing to innovation and intellectual property development. Health, Safety & Environment Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies. Reporting accidents and emergencies. Quality Maintaining quality standards and compliance with the Global Design Process. What We Look For Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in HW/FW embedded microprocessor controls. Knowledge of embedded microprocessor architectures (ARM Cortex, etc.). Experience in product development, HW CAD, and simulation tools. Programming skills in C/C++. Experience with electronic testing equipment. Understanding of the full product development lifecycle. Knowledge of European EMC standards and regulations. Project management and cost estimation skills. Experience with system integration, IoT, and communication technologies is a plus. General knowledge of BAS technologies is a plus. Ability to write technical specifications and documentation. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
