We are looking for a Field Application Engineer dedicated to high power products and solutions, who will join our team responsible for Italy and work with our customers and suppliers in this region from one of these locations: Padua (first choice), Bologna or Milan. On daily basis he will guide and support our customers R&D and help them realize their innovative ideas with electronic components and solutions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
1. Help development Engineers to select the right technologies and components for their next design.
2. Be involved in many different development projects of our customers.
3. As a technical expert you will be responsible for preparing & conducting trainings, events and technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
4. Guide technical direction/ priorities based on suppliers shaping strategy and market situation.
5. Daily collaborate with Arrow sales and engineering teams, to grow our penetration in the high power market.
WHO YOU ARE:
6. University Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
7. At least 5+ years of working experience as FAE, Design Engineer, R&D Engineer, Product Engineer or Application Engineer.
8. Extensive knowledge and experience on high voltage and high power applications and all the related products and technologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, MOSFETs, IGBT, SiC and GaN discrete and modules).
9. Very good communication skills and Customer faced orientation.
10. Previous experience with technical presentation, conducting training and technical events will be preferred.
11. English at least on B2 level is required to be successful on this role.
12. Driving license.
