Overview
DATA SCIENTIST role at A2A Milano within the Data Science Office. The structure supports group-wide data use to extract maximum value, develop use cases, and improve Advanced Analytics solutions, promoting best practices, standards and know-how across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Exploration and analysis of large data volumes to support the development of Advanced Analytics solutions
* Application of advanced statistical techniques, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining (time series analysis, decision trees, clustering algorithms such as K-means, random forest, neural networks) and Generative AI techniques
* Active collaboration with the team to support and implement production deployment of projects
* Proactive participation in innovation and optimization of business processes
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science
* At least 2 years of experience in Advanced Analytics techniques, modeling and statistical analysis of large data
* Solid experience in managing large-scale databases and data warehouses (SQL/NoSQL) and use of Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark)
* Advanced knowledge of Python and ML libraries
* Knowledge of cloud providers: Google Cloud (GCP), Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure
* Fundamental experience in data visualization: Microsoft Power BI, Django, Flask, Dash, Shiny
* Fundamental experience or knowledge of supervised and unsupervised ML, Deep Learning, Data Mining and Generative AI
* Good knowledge of English
* Strong teamwork orientation, ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels, critical thinking, problem solving, and adaptability to a dynamic, collaborative, startup-like agile environment
