RINA is currently recruiting for a Smart Infrastructure Project Manager to join its office in Naples or Rome within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division. Mission The Junior Project Manager supports project execution and assists in coordinating tasks to ensure successful project delivery. Working under a Project Manager, the Associate Project Manager helps manage resources, monitor timelines, and communicate effectively with team members and clients. LI-MB4 Key Accountabilities Project Support : Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, defining tasks, timelines, and milestones. Update project trackers and reports regularly to inform stakeholders of project status. Client Interaction : Support the client contact point, providing updates and addressing queries promptly. Participate in client meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items. Documentation : Organize project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Track document versions and ensure compliance with standards. Create reports and summaries for internal and client use. Scheduling and Coordination : Coordinate meetings, logistics, and distribute agendas and minutes. Track milestones and send reminders for timely completion. Maintain and update the project calendar. Budget and Risk Monitoring : Support budget tracking and expense report collection. Assist in identifying budget variances and flag issues. Monitor project risks and report findings. Quality Assurance : Assist in quality checks on deliverables. Report quality issues and deviations. Provide feedback for process improvements. Education Master’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in an engineering or technical project role. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are desirable; Agile certifications are beneficial. Basic understanding of project management principles, including lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous. Proven team collaboration skills and experience managing schedules and task lists. Basic data analysis skills for project reporting and KPI interpretation.
