Our Client is the local Branch of a leading Multinational Group operating in the Mechanical Components sector, applied to several technologies and industrial applications. In order to strenghten their Operations Team in Italy, they're looking for a Supply Chain Manager.

Main Tasks:
Providing inspired leadership for the Supply Chain department, designing improvement and optimization processes and ensuring all Supply Chain relevant processes are duly in place, so to respect costs, deadlines and quality aspects for all the sub functions involved such as Procurement, Planning, Work preparation, Logistics and Warehousing.
- Full financial responsibility for the Supply Chain budget (costs, quality, expenses);
- Ensuring all processes along the entire supply chain in Italy are in place and applied as per local and global policies;
- Continuous further development and optimization of the order process with a holistic view of the supply chain (customer, organization, supplier);
- Planning and implementation of training and measures to achieve and ensure the plan specifications and the Key Performance Indicator;
- Planning and execution of lean management activities;
- Overall responsibility for purchasing, warehousing, logistics, planning, and work preparation;
- On-time scheduling of warehouse and order-related parts, inventory control and optimization, kanban, vendor evaluation, supplier negotiation, delivery date monitoring, savings reporting;
- Project responsibility in local and international projects - Participation in international projects, such as Global sourcing, development and implementation of strategic procurement actions and projects;
- Responsible for assigned cost centers;
- Be responsible for the management, training and control of the subordinate employees as well as for the proper and punctual execution of the evaluations;
- General and specific activities that are not directly related to the field of activity but are necessary for day-to-day operations and inter-departmental collaboration;
- Ensures compliance with all legal and other applicable company polici and rules pertaining to its area of activity, and confirms its consent to the duties and responsibilities assigned.
Requisiti:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the field of Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing;
- Previous experience of at least 5 years in similar role / environment;
- Good knowledge of the ERP system;
- Proficiency in spoken and written Italian and English languages;
- Knowledge of Trend Chart, Pareto analysis, Ishikawa, 8D;
- MS Office proficiency;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong customer orientation (internal and external customers);
- Positive, pragmatic, pro-active and 'can do' attitude;
- Solid understanding of financial management related to Supply Chain;
- Acts with integrity and the highest ethical behavior.
