Job Title: Floor Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Floor Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of room attendants and ensuring that they deliver an exceptional guest experience.
About the Role:
* Supervise Room Attendants: You will be responsible for leading a team of room attendants and providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
* Daily Allocation of Rooms and Deep Cleaning Tasks: You will be required to allocate rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members, ensuring that all areas are covered and guests receive the best possible experience.
* Guest Requests: You will manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
* Routine Inspection of Guest Bedrooms: You will conduct regular inspections of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
* Achieve Positive Outcomes from Guest Queries: You will be responsible for achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
* Lost Property Procedures: You will carry out lost property procedures and report any issues to the relevant team members.
* Maintenance Issues: You will report maintenance issues to the Maintenance/Engineering Department.
* Training Requirements: You will assist the Head Housekeeper with training requirements and provide guidance to team members.
* Health and Safety Legislation: You will comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
* Interdepartmental Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with other departments to maintain good working relationships and achieve common goals.
Requirements:
* Customer Service Focus: You should have a strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.
* Team Management Experience: You should have experience in managing or supervising a team in a similar role.
* Hotel/Cleaning Industry Experience: You should have experience in the hotel or cleaning industry.
* Communication Skills: You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, guests, and other stakeholders.
* Hosting Service Experience: It would be advantageous if you have previous experience in Hosting Service (Governance).
* Cleanliness Standards: You should have high standards of cleanliness and be able to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Interpersonal Skills: You should possess good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships.
