Overview Spindox is hiring a senior Android developer to design and build mobile applications in a high‑tech interdisciplinary environment. The role is based in Osmannoro (FI) with a hybrid remote option and requires a 2‑day monthly on‑site presence at the client site. Responsibilities Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Apply modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and MVI. Create and integrate APIs with Retrofit, OkHttp, REST, and GraphQL. Implement user interfaces with Jetpack libraries, including ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, DataStore, and Compose. Manage background work with WorkManager. Write unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and UI tests (Espresso). Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins). Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile ceremonies. Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams and high‑tech partners. Qualifications Degree in science, engineering, or an equivalent background. Minimum 4 years of structured Android development experience. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java. Experience with Jetpack libraries, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Room, SQLite, and DataStore. Familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git).
