The role is responsible for supporting teams in identifying waste, improving processes, optimizing performance, and standardizing best practices. It ensures alignment of improvement activities with plant strategic objectives and corporate guidelines. /p pDaily activities are to be carried out in close collaboration with all the elements of the manufacturing team: Group Leaders, Value Stream Managers, Production planners, quality engineers and maintenance. /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES /h3 ul liMaintain, extend, and improve the Industry 4.0 concept in mechanical machining and assembly. /li liSupport team in the definition of improvement solutions regarding issues on process and quality, internal or external logistic issues. /li liFeasibility analysis and investment payback. /li liIndustrialize assembly/processing methods, which involves the study of the equipment and materials layout, definition of the equipment and tools needed and reliability assessment of the new processes. /li liStudy of workstations, through the activity balance and ergonomic analysis. /li liAnalyse the processes to identify opportunities for improvement and improve their efficiency. /li liSuggest improvement plans and follow-up on their implementation actively. /li liStimulate and support the implementation of the main lean operating instruments (e.g. 5S, Visual Management, TPM, SMED). /li liDelivering improvement events focused on implementing lean methodology and developing fellow colleagues. /li liSupport Global team in benchmarking KPIs and driving problem solving initiatives. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS /h3 ul liIndustrial Engineer or other technical engineering degree with at least 2 years’ experience in the role. /li liExperience in industrial contexts characterized by a strong propensity for Lean Manufacturing. /li liCoordination and project management skills. /li liGood knowledge of spoken and written English. /li liLean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus. /li /ul h3COMPETENCIES /h3 ul liAbility to analyze, synthesize and identify and manage priorities. /li liAutonomy, proactivity, energy and the ability to work as a team in situations of high pressure. /li /ul h3Videndum Mindset /h3 ul liExceptional Product Performance /li liCustomer Focus /li liLeading a Fast Changing Market /li liGlobal Capability /li liTransparency, Integrity and Respect /li liEnvironmental Consciousness /li /ul h3Health and Safety /h3 pHealth and Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Videndum.
