ArkadSpA is widening its offer to Customers in the Oil&Gas; and Power Markets.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to be a new addition to the Electrical Engineering Department and become part of our Team in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).
Your role and responsibilities
Review contractual technical documentation and requirements.
Prepare the deliverables relevant to Electrical and issued by Electrical discipline: design criteria, technical specifications, calculations, data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
Review Vendor documentation relevant to supplied items and interact with Suppliers for the technical issues (Vendor follow-up).
Attend inspections & tests in Vendor shops for critical supplies.
Participate to FAT
Perform/participate to the squad-checks.
Support Chief Engineer in carrying out the periodical estimate of material and erection quantities.
Review Tender Documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.
Prepare pre-calculation for quantity estimate purpose
Our ideal candidate has the following core competencies
Electrical Engineering background.
Knowledge of main electrical international codes, standards and best engineering practices (IEC, IEEE, ATEX, etc.).
Knowledge of Power Management System (PMS), SCADA systems, network architecture & integration criticalities & application.
Knowledge of Electrical Installation bulk material: selection application & criticalities.
Knowledge of Electrical field engineering (routing, etc).
Knowledge of ETAP application.
Seniority: Associate-level experience in Electrical Engineering in Oil&Gas;/Petrochemical/Energy EPC projects (3-5 years).
Education: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Role Overview
You will join our project team of electrical and control engineers to deliver high quality and cost-effective engineering solutions for our customers.
The role will play an important role in Cavotec Group's transformation and growth globally.
We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and development of our Shore Power and Motorized Cable Reel systems for industrial and maritime applications.
The candidate will be responsible for the complete design cycle of electrical panels, junction boxes, and related components, from schematic creation to bill of materials and component selection, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards.
This role involves both execution of current customer orders, R&D;, and participation in product improvement initiatives, including the development of platform based/150% design logic to enable automatic generation of schematics and panel layouts via engineering software.
Key Responsabilities
Independently design the electrical equipment and develop reliable and cost-effective technical solution for our Customer
Create and manage electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and bills of materials
Select, codify, and validate electrical components based on technical and commercial criteria
Interface with internal systems and colleagues to gather necessary project data
Support ongoing orders and contribute to product development and optimizationDevelop scalable design structures for automated documentation generation
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer specifications (IEC, UL, CSA, etc) through the management of external certified suppliers
Collaborate with the mechanical engineers to align design with mechanical and operational requirements
Provide technical support during assembly, testing, and commissioning phases
Create all the required technical documents (Schematics, BOM, Performance Level calculation, System Functional Description, etc)
Support the resolution of technical issues involving the sub-system
Assist sub-suppliers in the production process
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background
Proven experience in industrial electrical design, preferably in mobile or rotating systems
Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (ABB, Siemens, Vacon, Yaskawa)
Familiarity with fieldbus protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, CANopen, EtherCAT)
Experience in drive programming and parameterization
Basic understanding of PLC programming (any platform) is a plus
Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (Zuken E3 preferred, ePlan, SPAC, or similar)
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Organized, responsive and solution-driven, with a strong focus on delivering results

About the Role
A talented service technician/engineer is needed to install and maintain machines (brake test equipment) on-site for customers.
Responsibilities
Independent commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of brake tests and other test bench systems
Fault analyses and repairs of all LINK systems and devices
Writing procedures and work instructions
Create new reporting methods for calibrations
Create and fulfill customer requirements
Troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation
Qualifications
Technician/master craftsman, engineering degree specializing in electrical engineering/mechatronics/mechanical engineering;
Experience in calibration (Decelerometer, Accelerometer, Vmax Data Logger, Humidity sensors)
Preferred previous experience in commissioning, maintenance, and repair of equipment test machine
Specific knowledge of the electrical part of Machine assembly or inspection
Knowledge of MS Office
Strong customer-oriented attitude
