We are currently working with a highly regarded independent boutique investment bank in Milan to hire an Associate to join its growing team.
This firm has built a strong reputation in the Italian mid-market, advising entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and private equity clients on M&A and strategic transactions across a range of sectors. With a lean team structure and consistent deal flow, this role offers excellent hands-on exposure and responsibility from day one.
The Role
As an Associate, you will be actively involved in the execution of live transactions and play a key role in supporting senior bankers across all stages of the deal process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and reviewing detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Preparing marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, and information memoranda
- Supporting the execution of M&A transactions, including coordination of due diligence processes
- Conducting industry and company research to support client advisory work
- Interacting with clients, investors, and external advisors
- Overseeing and mentoring Analysts

Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance
- Strong execution experience, ideally within a boutique or mid-market platform
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
- Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
- Strong academic background
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
