What You Will DoAs a Defect Manager Engineer, you will oversee the full lifecycle of software defects and play a key role in improving product quality and delivery performance. Your responsibilities include:Managing the complete lifecycle of software defects, from
triage to closurePerforming
root cause analysis
and identifying recurring or systemic issuesCoordinating development, validation, integration, and architecture teams to ensure defect convergenceMonitoring KPIs and defect trends, reporting progress toward project milestonesSupporting continuous improvement of quality processes to prevent future issuesEnsuring structured, clear, and effective communication across teams
Required Skills & CompetenciesMandatoryStrong experience in
Defect Management
: triage, routing, duplicate handling, convergence, RCATechnical understanding of
Automotive Software
, including:Embedded architectures (BSW, middleware)DiagnosticsGateway & networkingLog analysis and interpretationHands‑on experience with defect tracking tools (RTC, Jira, Polarion or similar)Ability to work with dashboards and KPIsKnowledge of software quality processes, especially
ASPICE (SUP.9)
